IIM Sambalpur, one of the latest additions to the league of IIMs, is the new generation IIM that is in operation to mentor & guide future leaders by instilling a mindset of entrepreneurship. There are several programmes provided by IIM Sambalpur. Firstly, there is the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme that trains students in various functional areas of management. Then there are two similar MBA courses that are meant for working professionals, one is the Executive MBA held at the main campus and the MBA for working professionals held at the Delhi centre of IIM Sambalpur. Then there is the programme of MBA in Fintech management conducted in collaboration with Sorbonne Business School. 

Then there is a foundation programme in management meant to encourage the pursuit of management-related careers. Then there are three research programmes, Ph.D that is a residential research programme, Executive Ph.D that is a part-time Ph.D programme for working professionals looking towards research careers and a dual degree research programme called Executive Ph.D & DBA which is a collaborative programme between IIM Sambalpur and Bordeaux University School of Management research of international standards. 

IIM Sambalpur Master of Business Administration (MBA) Fees

This two-year programme, which is a full-time residential, is designed to mould students into responsible leaders who can lead on a global level with the right knowledge and skills. These students are trained to have a great learning capacity and adapt to business environments that are contextual in a national and international setting so that they can take up challenging roles in the future. 

The highly esteemed faculty members impart greater knowledge in management understanding and techniques. The classes are held in a blended mode that takes place in both online and offline classrooms. The students get to learn in different ways such as self-learning fused with peer learning, experiential learning through live projects, etc. The total course fee of the programme for the domestic student is INR 18.5 Lakhs, while for the NRI students is INR 27 Lakhs. IIM Sambalpur MBA for Working Professionals Fees

This 2-year programme is meant for entrepreneurs, working professionals and strategic leaders who desire to upskill & transform themselves into innovative leaders who can handle the challenges of evolving complex & globally competitive environments or scenarios. This programme is held in a blended mode in which the student gets to continue his/her job and learn new management knowledge & skills. The programme also has a dual degree option in which the other degree will be from a partnered international university. 

The students get to study the core aspects of management that build on their foundation in management. Along with that, the curriculum also provides a deep understanding of a variety of management functions. In this programme, specialisations are also provided such as Entrepreneurial Innovation, Data Science & Product Management, Functional Domains, and Sustainability & Risk Management. IIM Sambalpur MBA in Fintech Management Fees

This 1.5-year programme is a dual-degree MBA programme conducted by IIM Sambalpur in collaboration with Sorbonne Business School (Paris). The dual degrees received after the completion of the course are IIM Sambalpur’s MBA in Fintech Management and Sorbonne Business School’s MBA in Financial Management. Meant for working professionals, this programme is held in blended mode with three terms spanning 6 months each. This programme specialises in FinTech which covers financial subjects such as Financial Accounting & Information, Economics and Financial Environment, Advanced Financial Analysis, etc.; technical subjects such as Cryptography, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, etc.; and fintech-based subjects such as Digital marketing & E-commerce, etc. The programme also consists of an incubator training programme that will mentor and assist the student in launching a startup in Fintech. Foundation Programme in Management Fees

This 2-week programme is meant to empower the students by preparing them to deal with the present dynamic business landscape through developing skills that are essential for tackling challenges and fostering an innovative mindset, that will help to take up leadership roles to make the right impact. This programme provides exposure to MBA-related knowledge and knowledge of several domains so that the student might consider pursuing endeavours related to the business world. The modules that are covered under this programme are Basic Understanding of Different Domains of Management, Experiential Learning, Social Events & Activities, and Business Communications. The early bird programme fee is INR 75K (including 18% GST) and the regular programme fee is INR 85K (including 18% GST).

IIM Sambalpur Ph.D Financial Support

The Ph.D programme of IIM Sambalpur attracts students who want to research in the field of management. The programme allows the student to research one of the domains of management which are Marketing Management, Information System Management, Policy & Strategic Management, Economics, Operations Management, Finance & Accounting Management, and Organizational Behavior & Human Resource Management. The student also does an in-depth study of the domain to acquire deeper knowledge of the field. Along with that, the student develops teaching skills through lessons on teaching techniques and methodologies. The duration of the programme is 4 years. The financial aspects of this program such as fees, fellowship, etc. are given below-

• Comprehensive Fellowship: 
  • Covers all academic expenses.
  • It also includes alumni fees, placement, medical insurance, library, computer, and tuition.
• Subsistence Allowance:
  • For 1st and 2nd year students, an allowance of INR 35K is given.
  • For 3rd and 4th year students, an allowance of INR 40K is given only when the student has submitted the TAC (Thesis Advisory Committee) approved thesis proposal. This allowance is given till the 4th year.
  • A two-time six-month extension is allowed that is subject to the recommendation of the Doctoral Committee and Competent Authority.
• Hostel:
  • Bachelor accommodation for all the students.
  • Limited accommodation for married students.
• Programme Fees: 
  • The students don’t have to pay tuition fees/programme fees.
  • But the student has to pay acceptance fees of INR 50,780 to confirm acceptance of the offer.
  • At the end of the course INR 44K of the acceptance fees will be refunded.
  • An amount of INR 6K will be adjusted as the alumni fees excluding 18% GST.

IIM Sambalpur Executive Ph.D Programme Fees

This 3-year programme, that is, the Executive Ph.D & DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) together is a collaboration between IIM Sambalpur and Bordeaux University School of Management.
