IIM Shillong Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) Fees

This 2-year program is a standard management program that involves the forging of the students into management leaders meant to be equipped with the knowledge of functional areas of management and the relevant skills associated with it. Along with that, the spirit to instil sustainable development in their decision-making involves businesses and the communities that are involved in the fabric of society. IIM Shillong Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPEx) Fees

This one-year programme is a residential MBA programme for executives who will gain management knowledge and develop skills to solve management challenges in real-time scenarios. The course has a contemporary approach in its curriculum considering ethics, sustainability and rising technologies. The student will be exposed to management theories and practices to be applied in solving business challenges that prepare the student to thrive in business organisations and environments that make an impact on a larger scale. 

The students of this programme are trained to become management professionals who showcase highly developed competencies that enable them to take forward business on a global stage. The course fee of the PGPEx programme is around INR 22,75,500. This fee is applicable for both local and international participants enrolling in this programme. This fee covers mess charges, insurance, alumni, library, student activities and tuition fees. For the international immersion programme, the indicative fee charged is around 4 Lakhs but it might be based on actuals that depend on the institution’s decision.

IIM Shillong Post Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives (PGP WE) Fees

This two-year programme is meant for working professionals who want to hike up their pay and upskill towards roles of higher management positions by developing their skills and expanding their knowledge in management. This programme attracts students from a diverse range of professional backgrounds such as academics, government & policy, research, not-for-profit organisations, and business & industry. IIM Shillong Doctoral Programme Financial Support

This 4-year doctoral programme is meant for students who want to pursue research in management areas, learn the chosen area deeply to expand their current knowledge and sharpen the teaching skills required to enhance the act of subject instruction. The programme develops the student’s problem-solving acumen & skills and expands domain knowledge, to be used to solve contemporary managerial challenges. 

The student gets to develop a competency that enables him/her to do academic research systematically. The student gets to be aware of the problems in business organisations and societies, from the standpoint of ethics and sustainability. The financial aspects of this programme the student has to pay or receive such as fees, allowance, etc. are given in the following points-

• The student has to pay an amount of INR 10K as an offer acceptance fee.
• The student has to pay a caution deposit of INR 10K.
• The student’s mess charges are based on actuals.
• The student has to pay Medical Insurance Premium.
• The student doesn’t have to pay tuition fees and hostel fees as both are waived.
• For the first and second year, the student gets a fellowship of INR 30K per month.
• After clearing the comprehensive examination and the submission of thesis proposal, the fellowship increases to INR 35K per month during the third and fourth year.
• After the completion of the first year and before the completion of the third year, there will be a one-time Computer Grant of INR 50K that can be availed during the given period mentioned earlier. 
• Starting from the second year, an amount of INR 50K is given as a Contingency Grant for three years.
• A financial aid of up to INR 1 Lakh is provided to the students that covers seminars, conferences, and workshops; that are national and international.

• The institute takes the initiative to support MBA students of IIM Shillong, who are economically weak. 
  • For that purpose, the institute provides a Need Based Financial Assistance Scheme.
