ThisIIM Visakhapatnam management programme is an MBA programme that is non-residential, held on Friday evenings or weekends meant for experienced working parking professionals. IIM Visakhapatnam Post Graduate Program in Digital Governance and Management (PGPDGM) Fees

This 20-month IIM Visakhapatnam MBA programme is a contemporary programme that is very relevant in the digital era we live in today. Governments, private organisations, etc, are transitioning from a traditional to a digital ecosystem. Hence there is a need for the stakeholders such as government officers, executives and professionals to equip themselves with management skills with the knowledge of digitally oriented tools and technologies to carry out decisions for the advancement of the ecosystem.

With the collaboration of IIM Visakhapatnam with the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India (GOI), this programme is meant to advance the upcoming developments and projects that will be led by these students. The fee for this programme is INR 16.5 Lakhs, it could either be self-financed or sponsored by the employer. The other expenses consist of travel costs, per-diems, Insurance, travel insurance, medical insurance, visa fees, SIM-Card, and phone usage charges of participants.

Then there are modalities of payment of the programme fee and other expenses that the student needs to adhere to. 

• The Central/State governments nominate their candidates for this programme, and out of these ten candidates qualify for their programme fees getting paid by NeGD/MeitY, GoI.
• A selection process is carried out by IIM Visakhapatnam for the candidates qualified and eligible for the funding of the programme fee by NeGD/MeitY.
• For the remaining nominees from the central/state government, the programme fee will be paid by their respective organisations/ministries/departments.
• The candidates in public and private sector enterprises have to pay the programme fees themselves or be sponsored by their respective organisations.
• When it comes to “Other Expenses” of sponsored candidates, it is paid by the candidate’s respective ministries/departments/organisations or by the candidate himself/herself.

When it comes to the sponsored nominee, the associated ministry/department/organisation has to take up several costs such as pay & allowances, domestic travel between the work location & IIM Visakhapatnam also for the capstone project, travel-boarding-lodging during fieldwork, per diem allowances, and other allowances.

This IIM Visakhapatnam PGPMCI programme is a collaboration between 4 institutes that are NIT Warangal, IITDM Kurnool, IIPE Visakhapatnam and NIT Andhra Pradesh. Designed for engineering and technology students of PTIs pursuing B.Tech or M.Tech in their last three semesters or PTI Alumni from recent batches. This programme provides knowledge & skills in management that is technology-oriented. • The stipend for the first two years of the programme is INR 37K per month. Then after clearing the comprehensive examination at the end of the second year, from the third year onwards the stipend will be upgraded to INR 42K per month.
• On par with the UGC norms, the contingency grant is provided to the students.
• The grant for attending conferences is INR 60,000 for national conferences and INR 3 Lakhs for international conferences. The student must have accepted papers for attending these conferences.
• In the publication of papers,

-If it is published in Financial Times 50, UT Dallas 24, or Australian Business Deans Council and the paper is given the grade A* by a chair or member of the Thesis Advisory Committee, the student will receive INR 50K.

-If it is published in Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) and the paper is given the grade A by a chair or member of the Thesis Advisory Committee, the student will receive INR 25K.

(A) IIM Visakhapatnam Merit-Based Scholarship (For PGP Students)

• Based on Merit.
• Given to the top two students based on academic performance in their first year (based on CGPA).
• Waiver of Tuition Fees or a scholarship of up to 6 Lakhs (as reimbursement of tuition fee), during the second year.

(B) IIM Visakhapatnam Financial Aid (Merit-cum-Means Basis) (For PGP Students)

• Based on Merit and Means together.
• Applicable to students with an annual household income of less than INR 5 Lakhs.
• Takes a two-step process to determine the number of students who will get the financial aid and the quantum of the aid that will be provided.
• In the first stage, a certain number of personal & relevant financial details have to be provided through the application form. In the second stage, the student will be interviewed to confirm the genuineness of his/her financial conditions. As a result, a financial need score will be used to decide the receiver of this financial aid. 
• 100% financial aid will be provided to the 2% of the batch and 25% financial aid will be provided to the 6% of the batch.
