New Admission Process for Online/Distance Courses
On June 25, The University Grants Commission introduced a new admission process for students seeking admission in online/distance courses. This change will be effective from Sep 2024 enhancing transparency in the admission process.
What is the New Admission Process for ODL Courses?
Students must register first on the UGC-DEB official website and create a unique DEB-ID using their Academic Bank of Credit ID. Further admission process remains the same.
Is it Mandatory to Create a DEB-ID?
Yes, a DEB-ID is mandatory for all students (except foreign students) seeking admission to online and distance courses.
Why UGC has Introduced a New Admission Process for ODL Courses?
