UGC approval is granted to universities with proper infrastructure, appropriate faculty-student ratio, & best academic practices. These universities are eligible for funding and other assistance from UGC.
UGC-recognized universities need to get prior approval from UGC to introduce a new course.
A UGC-recognized university meets specific standards set by the UGC commission and can offer only certain higher academic programs fulfilling those standards.
Do not opt for a fake university in confusion. Choose either an approved or recognized university to make your degree countable.
