Distance BBA Vs Distance B.Com: Eligibility Criteria

Distance B.Com is an undergraduate program and the eligibility criteria for admission in this program may vary as per the university. But there is a standard criterion to take admission and that is the students must have completed a commerce-related higher secondary education (class 12th) and passed all subject exams.

The candidate’s total grade point average should not be less than 50% (some universities don’t demand minimum percentile). In class 12th, students are expected to take Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

Whereas students of regular B.Com also need to have 10 + 2 certificates from a recognized board but their final selection in some universities like DU will be based on cut-offs.

BBA is a 3-year program specially designed to offer a deep understanding of management and business. The eligibility criteria of BBA differ as per the norms of different universities but still, there are standard criteria that are adopted by many universities.

The students must have passed all of his or her class 12th board exams and completed his or her higher secondary education in any sector to take admission in BBA. The student must have earned at least 50% in class 12th. Some institutions favor students who have completed 10+2 mathematics.
