Why put your career in jeopardy for an invalid B.Tech program? Don’t fall for the trap of online exams via a proctored exam tool for the B.Tech program. Making a fool of themselves if anyone chooses a university/ institute that allows online exams to complete their graduation degree in engineering over exams at the center/university campus as per Government Guidelines.
“1994 AICTE Regulations, do apply to Deemed to be Universities and the Deemed to be Universities in the present matter were not justified in introducing any new courses in Technical Education without the approval of AICTE.”
But there are many universities offering B.Tech programs, which allow online exams via proctored exam for the convenience of the learners. But such programs are invalid as per the guidelines of AICTE and UGC. So there is no benefit in enrolling such programs.
If a university is allowing online exams is invalid as per the judgement of the Supreme Court. What is the use of such a degree? Neither companies nor universities are going to count the degree. Applicants are wasting resources like money, time, and effort for nothing. It is better to make the efforts in the right direction.
Students are denied opportunities and promotions if they fall for such invalid degrees. Then what’s the purpose of applying to such programs?
It is not considered valid in India. Although the idea of pursuing a B.Tech exam online might seem convenient. There are several compelling reasons for this, some of which are outlined below:
Students don’t have to worry, there are UGC approved engineering programs that follow hybrid/flexible modes, which allow working professionals to manage their schedule.
B.Tech for Working Professionals programs allow applicants to attend the online classes. But such programs follow a hybrid/flexible mode of education. It means students have to visit the universities for exams. Universities conduct exams semester-wise, so students have to visit the examination center twice a year.
This many, students of a technical program can afford a valid degree, and the value of the hybrid engineering program and the regular engineering program is the same, better than a fake online degree, conducting online exams. Furthermore is a wise step to apply for the approved hybrid program over an invalid online B.Tech program.
How can you find out whether a B.Tech program is valid or not?
If your university is asking to visit the campus for examination is offering a valid program because they are following the guidelines of the AICTE/UGC and the Judgement of the Supreme Court while designing their program.
B.Tech Flexible Timing program combines online theory sessions with offline practical and lab sessions, making it ideal for professionals who want flexibility without compromising on hands-on experience.
Before enrolling for the program, applicants must check the approvals of the University. They can get help from various platforms like College Vidya, which helps students to choose the right universities, and it allows learners to compare the best university for them from the available options.
Learners must check the criteria of the university to assess the candidates and how they conduct exams. According to the UGC guidelines, for the assessment of the technical program, learners must have to be present physically at the campus. If the university allows proctored online exams for a technical program, learner needs to worry about the validity of the program.
