Every year, more than 20 lakh students apply for NEET-UG, and as per 2023, 20.38 lakh appeared and from that, around 11.45 lakh students qualified for the exams, but that's not it. In order to get into AIIMS MBBS, there are only around 2000 seats available across 20+ AIIMS institutions across India. So, only the top 300-500 secure the seat due to intense competition.
