DU Application Form 2025

The authorities have opened the DU application form 2025 window on their official website. The window has launched by the DU UG admission online admission portal in online mode on August 02, 2025. Stage 1: Registration

Stage 2: Fill Application Form

After completing the first step of registration. A student moves forward to fill the basic personal and academic details This is the second stage where a student needs to fill in their personal as well as academic qualifications that include 10+2 mark sheet, certificates, Identity proofs, and best of four marks.

Stage 3: Documents Required for Counseling

This section is crucial and important in the whole DU admissions. At this stage, the candidate must need to upload all the below-mentioned documents in the prescribed size and format which is mentioned for your perusal. It is recommended for the students to be very focused while uploading their certificates in online mode.

• Applicant’s recent passport-sized photograph.
• Scanned image of applicant’s signature
• Self-attested copy of mark sheet of Class 10th mark sheet and passing certificate, Class 12th qualifying mark sheet and passing certificate, Transfer Certificate from the school, Migration Certificate from the board, Character Certificate, Caste Certificate, EWS Certificate (if required), OMR form of University registration. 
• Scanned copy of candidate’s migration certificate if they passed from other state boards other than Delhi such NIOS, Rajasthan, UP, Bihar, etc.
• Students applying under reserved categories such as SC/ST/PWD/OBC should submit a self-attested copy of the reserved category certificate.
• Candidate’s self-attested copies of Sports. ECA certificates (if a student is applying through this entrance). 
• Students applying for Financial Assistance should upload a self-attested copy of the BPL ration card.

Stage 4: Admission Course Payment Structure.

This is the post-uploading stage and the last process of the whole DU admission 2025. Students can submit their respective fees for a particular course through an online mode of transaction. The applicants must have to submit the required course fee. The fee structure is different according to the selected UG course and if a candidate belongs from a reserved category they need to submit a different amount. 

Applicants cannot able to change or cancel the process if they click on the submitting button. if they need to cancel the application or do some changes their whole application form will get canceled or rejected. Students can do the online payment through- Debit card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking.

Stage 5: Download the Confirmation Slip

After paying the application fee for a particular course, a student needs to download the confirmation slip. This confirmation is also addressed to your registered email id and active contact number. Candidates are suggested to save multi copies of this confirmation PDF for further use at the time of classes.

Basic Eligibility

The Admission process at DU will be started after the university releases its admission list or cut-off of a particular course. Students will be able to apply for admissions as per their choice of interest or where they want to make their successful careers. Students can go through with the specific counseling sessions offline mode. The counseling sessions will be organized in various UG courses of their rounds that are depending upon the availability of seats of students.

Candidates will be going through the GD (Group Discussions) or PI (Personal Interview) rounds to get admissions in the desired course. The DU 2025 cutoff has been released on October 1, 2025. Cutoff for Science, Commerce, Arts & other degree courses is released separately. The cutoff is the minimum marks which a student have to score in their qualifying 10+2 examination.

The eligibility criteria of DU Merit-based admissions 2025 Arts/Social Science/ Commerce:

B.A (Hons) Hindi	An aggregate of 95% or above marks is required to take admission to DU.  The merit is determined on the basis of one national language and the three best academic/ elective subjects.  The applicant must have studied and passed Hindi subject with good marks in their qualifying 10+2 examination.  Students can include the Hindi subject percentage in their best four percentages.
B.A (Hons) Economics	An aggregate of 97-99.50% or above marks is enough to take admissions in DU.  Same in this course, the merit shall be determined on the basis of the open language and three best academic/ elective subjects.  To take admission in this particular course, students have studied and passed mathematics on the 12th examination boards.
B.Com (Hons)	99.50% aggregate marks are required to enroll in this UG course.  Students from science and commerce backgrounds can take admission to this regular programme. Must have studied/ passed mathematics/ Business Mathematics.  The student shall be obtained qualifying marks in their examination which includes one language and three best subjects.  45% or more aggregate marks of Hindi/English and the combination of Mathematics/ Accountancy/ Economics and Business studies is required in B.Com (Hons).
B.Com (Program)	97% or above aggregate marks are considered to take admission in this regular b.com program.  Students from commerce as well as science streamers can do apply for this particular course.  Commerce without mathematics students can apply for this regular program.  Though students can add one core language and three elective subjects in their best four percent.
B.Sc (Hons) Computer Science	Mathematics, one core language (Hindi/English), with two other subjects is required to be secured. 60% or above marks are required only in mathematics subjects.  The admission is based on the aggregate of 12th board examination in best four academic subjects inclusive of one language, mathematics, and two out of Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science or Information Practices.
B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics / Statistics	An aggregate of 95% – 97% or above is necessary marks in the qualifying 12th examination.

DU BA (Hons) Cut off - 2025 College-wise

Delhi University has released its 5th cut-off on 08th November 201. As per the Du admission, under the Arts stream category, Miranda House, LSR College for Women, SRCC, Hindu College, and other DU colleges have updated their 5th cutoff. How To Calculate Best of Four Eligibility Criteria

The Delhi university Post-graduation admission programs of the academic session 2025, has been started. This is a post-graduation level degree, which a candidate can only do after completing their bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.

Delhi University Post-graduation admissions would be offered in two different categories. 

• Direct Admission 
• Entrance Test
