Delhi University offers a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), a three-year undergraduate course. The whole course is divided into six equal semesters.   • All aspiring candidates must have cleared their 12th board of examination from a recognized board of education. 
  • Candidates with 60% or above aggregate marks in their best four subject percentages. English, Mathematics, and other two core or elective subjects of your highest percentage carry to apply for the JAT exam.
  • Students with a compartment in their 12th board’s subjects are not entitled to sit in the JAT examination conducted by the Delhi University’s BBA course.
  • Students who belong to the reserved categories (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD) can get a little relaxation in the percentage criteria of around 5%. Students are required to score 55% or above aggregate marks in their senior secondary board examinations.

The Admission and Selection procedure of BBA at Delhi University

  1. To gain admission to the BBA course from Delhi University, students have to prepare and crack for the Joint Admission Test, (JAT) Examination. The exam of JAT consists of four equal sections –
    • Quantitative Ability
    • English
    • Reasoning
    • Business and General Awareness
  2. These are the main four subjects and the areas where students need to focus and study to crack the JAT examination.
  3. Students need to score above 60% marks in the JAT exam.
  4. The preliminary shortlisting of students will be based on the score they had secured in their DU JAT exam.
  5. After shortlisting from the first stage, students will appear in the second stage of the DU JAT exam to go through the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.
  6. These two rounds will be conducted only for the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) and BBA- FIA (Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) courses.
  7. For BBE, students don’t need to go through any GD and PI rounds.

  • Visit the official website of DU (http://www.du.ac.in/ )
  • Browse on the registration form and fill it with your basic credentials by mentioning students’ Name, email address, contact number, etc.
  • After completing the registration procedure, students will receive the confirmation registration popup on their given email address or contact number.
  • Now move forward to the second stage of the form i.e. “Application form”. In this log in with your ID and password and begin to fill the application form.
  • Fill in all your required academic qualifications and update your documents in the prescribed format along with it.
  • Once it is done, lastly submit the course fee and save the confirmation file or slip for future reference.

  • If a candidate belongs to a reserved category, they need to submit the caste certificate along with it such as, (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/ PWD/KM/CW certificates).
  • Or, if a student is applying through the sports or activity, they need to submit their ECA (Extra Curricular Activities) while updating the documents.

Delhi University BBA Syllabus Course Details

  • In the first year of 1 & 2 semesters, a student has to read 3 core courses and 1 generic elective/ interdisciplinary courses.
  • In the 3rd & 4th semesters, students need to study 3 core courses + 1 generic elective/ interdisciplinary courses and 1 skill enhancement courses (SEC)
