Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has made an important statement that says that the deadline for new & re-registrations for the July academic term has been extended. The deadline for candidates seeking admission to different undergraduate and postgraduate programs has been extended until September 30, 2023, according to the most recent update. This extension does not apply to certificate programs, since their admissions have closed and will not be extended.

 To apply for admission, interested students can go to the official IGNOU website at www.ignou.ac.in and follow the admission processes. This involves enrolling for courses, completing the admission form, uploading appropriate papers, making payments, and ensuring that all processes are done before the new deadline of September 30.

Many candidates who may have faced difficulties or delays throughout the application procedure will be relieved by the extension of the admittance deadline.   • Go to the IGNOU Admissions Page: To begin the registration procedure, go to the official IGNOU admission page.
  •  Selecting an Open and Distance Learning (ODL) Programme:  Choose the ODL program in which you want to register for the July 2023 semester.
  •  Fill out the online registration form: Fill out the online registration form completely, including all of your personal and academic information.
  • Submit the following documents:  Follow the instructions to attach the required papers, such as educational transcripts, proof of identification, and a passport-sized image.
  • Pay Admission Costs Online: Pay the admission costs online. Keep in mind that the charge may vary based on the program selected.
  • Examine Your Application: Carefully examine the completed form and ensure that all linked files are properly connected. When you're finished, click the submit button.
  • Receive Your Enrollment Number: After submitting your application, you will be assigned a unique enrollment number.
  • Print Your Application Form and Payment Receipt: After completing the procedure, print a copy of your application form and payment receipt for your records.
  • Keep an eye on your email:  During the admissions process, keep an eye on your registered email address for any information from IGNOU.
  • Receive Study Materials and Confirmation: Following the evaluation and approval of your application, you will receive study materials, information about study centers, and an admission confirmation letter.
