IGNOU Extended The Last Date of Admission Of The July Session 2024 To The 31st July

The good news for all the students who could not apply to the IGNOU before 15th July as now, you can apply till 31st July as IGNOU extended the last date of the registration. You can apply to all the Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), Certificate and diploma courses. But this time make sure to apply on time, or it is advised to apply before the deadline so there will be no chance of you forgetting to apply. Moreover, you check the steps below to know how to apply. 

Follow the given simple steps for the registration:

• Visit the official website of the IGNOU.
• Click on the "Available Programme" tab.
• Choose the program you are interested in.
• Read the details
• Choose the program you are interested in.
• Read the details about eligibility, fees, and duration.
• Download the Common Prospectus.
• Read the university's rules.
• Click on "NEW REGISTRATION" in the applicant login section.
• Fill in your registration details.
• Ensure your username is 8 to 16 characters long.
• Create a password with letters and numbers, also 8 to 16 characters long.
• Click "SUBMIT" after entering the necessary information.
• Receive your username via email and SMS.
• Remember your username and password.
• If already registered, click "Log in."

Required documents at the time of filling out the form:

You need to attach all the documents required. Make sure to attach all the scanned copies of your documents. 

• Provide a scanned signature with a file size of less than 100 KB.
• Submit a scanned photograph with a file size of less than 100 KB.
• If you're from the SC/ST/OBC category, include a scanned copy of your Category Certificate with a file size of less than 200 KB.
• Upload scanned copies of your Relevant Educational Qualifications with a file size of less than 200 KB.
• If applicable, a scanned copy of your Experience Certificate (size should be less than 200 KB). 

All about Registration fee, Cancellation of Admission, and Refund of Fee

• There is no refund for the registration fee.
• The payment will be made before the admissions confirmation.
• Up to Rs. 2,000 in cancellation fees will be applied if the request is made after admission has been confirmed.
• For students who opted for a soft copy of study materials, only the Registration Fee will be deducted from the refund.
• If a student with a fee exemption cancels, only the Development Fee will be refunded.
• No refund is available after 60 days from the admission closing date.

Registration Fee 

All students need to pay the registration fee which is Rs 300 and this fee is non-refundable. Moreover, you will pay this fee along with the first-semester program fee. 

Make sure to apply on time and it is advised that before applying to the university you must check the fees and eligibility criteria on the official website of the University as it keeps on changing from time to time.
