The last date for registration to the ODL and online programs of IGNOU has been extended to 14th March 2023 (for certificate and semester-wise courses) and 20th March 2023 (for all other programs).
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has recently released an announcement for the extension of the application submission date for its Open Distance Learning (ODL) and online courses, including the certificate programs in addition to semester-wise courses and other programs. In a latest tweet on the official Twitter Handle of IGNOU on 11 March 2023.
This is the fifth extension provided in the January cycle of admission, which is the calendar-cycle of admission of IGNOU. IGNOU conducts admissions in two cycles- the academic cycle (June-July) and the calendar cycle of admission (January). Currently the university is conducting admissions to its ODL and online courses in the January cycle.
Here is a basic outline of the application procedure for IGNOU ODL and online courses:
- Visit the official admission portal of IGNOU.
- Click on the “Registration Online” tab and select Fresh Admission from the drop down menu that appears.
- You can select the “Click Here for New Registration” tab to register afresh or use your already existing login credentials to proceed further and apply to the course.
- Fill in the application form with the necessary details, attach the documents for verification and pay the registration/application fee as applicable.
- Submit the application and download a copy of the receipt for further use.
