IGNOU July 2024: Registration Extended Till 20th September

The last date for fresh admission at the Indira Gandhi National Open University, or IGNOU - the registration deadline is September 20, 2024, for programs on offer through Online and ODL modes. The same for semester-based and Certificate programs in the July 2024 Admission cycle in IGNOU shall remain undisturbed.

IGNOU introduced at the X platform, formerly called Twitter approximately the extension of the registration date: "The last date for registration for Fresh Admissions, July 2024 has been further extended as much as 20th September 2024 for all Programs provided through ODL/Online mode, besides semester-based totally and Certificate Programs."

Those students applying for admission to IGNOU ‘s Open and Distance Learning (ODL) applications can sign up themselves at the legit portal via ignouadmission.Samarth.Edu.In or via using the admission form.

Eligibility Criteria

Those college students who want to join admission at IGNOU ought to meet set criteria for the registration system for suitable publications. The eligibility requirement for IGNOU admissions is described under:

• Undergraduate Courses: Students need to have completed their Class 12th from a recognized board.
• Postgraduate Courses: Students must have finished their bachelor's diploma from a UGC-authorized college or university.

Document Needed:

Following is a list of documents students required for the registration process at IGNOU, and the list of files with unique sizes allotted by the IGNOU is mentioned below,

• Students Passport-size photograph (100 KB)
• Signature of the student (100 KB)
• Scanned photocopy of student's academic certificate (200KB)
• Student needs to submit caste certificates if they lie in special categories (200 KB)
• Proof of work experience in if the student has  (200 KB)

The following steps need to be followed by the students for the successful registration process at IGNOU:

• Step 1: Students want to go to  IGNOU's official Website.
• Step 2: Then they fill out the eligibility criteria set by the IGNOU for the registration process.
• Step 3: Scanned and then uploaded all the relevant documents requested as per the IGNOU list for the registration process.
• Step 4: Verify your information after finishing then pay the registration fees.
• Step 5: After you finish with the registration, keep the receipt/message or email for further use.

The fee of Rs 300 as a registration price needs to be paid by using all the applicants for any one of the UG, PG, or Diploma guides of IGNOU. As consistent with the refund coverage of IGNOU, if the application of a candidate gets canceled earlier than confirmation of admission, the system charges deposited are refunded in complete. The last date of re-registration has been extended up to September 20, 2024. Also, late costs of Rs.200 may be payable.
