IGNOU to Close Registrations for Fresh and Re-Registrations Today!

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will close its portal for fresh admissions and re-registrations for the January academic session today, i.e. 20 February 2023. Candidates who are interested in taking admission in the Calendar year (January-December) should head over to the official university website immediately and register themselves.

IGNOU, one of India’s top central universities for open-distance education, will close its registration portal for the academic year 2023 in its calendar year of admissions. The admissions for this year started from December 2022 and the first deadline extension was till January 15, 2023. The university has now extended the deadline for admissions for the third time and its registrations are to finally close today, i.e. by 20 February 2023.

Candidates interested in seeking admissions to the courses need to register for the same as fresh users or re-registrations. Here are the simple steps to register on IGNOU website:

• Visit the official IGNOU website: ignou.ac.in
• On the home page of the university, click on the “Register Online” tab and select either “Fresh Registration” or “Re-registration” depending upon your purpose from the drop down menu.
  Once selected, fill in the application form for the course and attach the necessary documents. Select your relevant course.
• Double check all the filled-in details, make the registration fee payment and submit your application.
• Download a copy of your application and receipt for further uses.
