IIM Udaipur: Started its 2024-25 batch of 1-year Online MBA

The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur has started the Twelfth cohort of the One-year MBA in Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) program and the Fifth cohort of the One-year MBA in Digital Enterprise Management (DEM) program for the academic year 2024-25.

In just 8 years of working, the IIM Udaipur  Institute achieved AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation, propelling it to the world education stage. With this accreditation, IIM Udaipur joins the ranks of prestigious worldwide institutions such as Harvard Business School, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and the MIT Sloan School. IIM Udaipur is the first IIM to have been ranked in the Top 100 in the coveted FT Masters In Management World Rankings for five consecutive years, beginning in 2019. For the sixth year running, the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur has been ranked in the coveted Masters in Management (MIM) QS World University Rankings 2024.

During Inauguration Ceremony 

The ceremony was led by Prof. Ashok Banerjee, Director of IIM Udaipur, and Prof. Rajesh Agrawal, Chairperson of the One-year MBA Program Committee. Joining them were Mr. R. Chandrashekar, overseeing the Centre for Supply Chain Management, and Dr. Y. Shekar, in charge of the Centre for Digital Enterprise. Guest of Honors included Mr. Rizwan Soomar, CEO & Managing Director of DP World (Middle East, North Africa, and Indian subcontinent), and Mr. Ganesan Ramachandran, Managing Director of Tech Strategy and Advisory at Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd.

During Prof. Ashok Banerjee's speech, he highlighted the differences between these programs, emphasizing their transformative nature and the growing demand for specialized expertise in industries. He emphasizes the significance of hands-on experience through live projects alongside classroom learning, encouraging students to embrace the journey with an open mindset.

Later Mr. Rizwan Soomar, in his speech, enhanced the increasing importance of digital transformation, supply chain resilience, and sustainability in today's business landscape. He emphasized the need for adaptability, innovation, and sustainable practices in response to disruptive events.

In the end, Mr. Ganesan Ramachandran offered advice to the incoming students on how to maximize their experience at IIMU, guiding them through their educational journey.

IIM Udaipur is the first management institute in India that offers a full-time one-year MBA program in Digital Enterprise Management (DEM)  and Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM). These are tough, residential MBA programs designed for graduates of any subject with at least 3 years of professional experience in any field.
