AP TET 2025 Application Begins: All You Need to Know to Apply

The Andhra Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test ( AP TET ) registration has already started. Candidates should be aware that the last date to apply for AP TET 2025 is November 23, 2025, and the schedule will begin on December 10. Check the application process below for detailed instructions.

How to apply for AP TET 2025?

Required‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ to pay the application fee, a candidate needs to go to the official website- aptet.apcfss.in

Click on the 'Payment Link'

Make the application fee

When the payments are made successfully, you will be given the "Candidate ID"

Go to the "Application" tab and click the "Candidate Login" link

Use the Candidate's ID, date of birth, and verification code to access the account

Complete the application for the APTET

Submit the scanned copy of the photo

Fill out the AP TET application form and submit it

Print the application form after filling ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌it.

Criteria of Eligibility

The minimum qualifications of the teacher for Category 1 to 5 classes (Paper 1 A) and Category 1 to 5 classes (Paper 1 B) in respect of Special Education and for Classes 6 to 8 (Paper 2 A) and Paper 2 B for classes 6 to 8 in respect of Special Education Teachers, as prescribed in the advertisement, would have been required for an appearance of a candidate in AP TET 2025.

Educational Qualification for AP TET 2025

Regarding Paper 1 A (Classes 1–5): Intermediate/Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% of the possible points; two-year Elementary Education or Intermediate/Senior Secondary Diploma with at least 50% of the possible points; four years of B.El.Ed. or Intermediate/Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% of the possible points; two-year Diploma in Education or Graduation and two-year Elementary Education or Graduation with at least 50% of the possible points; B.Ed. or Post Graduation with at least 55% of the possible grades; and three-year integrated B.Ed./M.Ed.

For Paper 1B (Special Schools – Classes 1 to 5):

Candidates should have passed Intermediate or Senior Secondary, and completed a 2-year D.Ed. in Special Education in any disability category.

Alternatively, they can have Intermediate with a 1-year Diploma in Special Education, or a Diploma in Community-Based Rehabilitation along with a 6-month certificate course in the education of children with special needs.

A Post Graduate Diploma in Community-Based Rehabilitation with the same 6-month certificate is also accepted.

Other valid qualifications include a Diploma in Multi-Rehabilitation Work with a 6-month course in teaching children with special needs, a Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf, or a Primary Level Teacher Training Course in Visual Impairment.

Application Fee for AP TET 2025

Between‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ February 8 and 18, candidates must make a payment of Rs. 750 through the payment gateway in order to submit their online ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌application.

Exam Date of AP TET 2025

The‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ 2025 AP TET exam is set to start on December 10. There will be two sessions for the AP TET; the first session will be from 9:30 am to 12 noon and the second session will be from 2:30 pm to 5 ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌pm.

AP TET Exam Syllabus

All‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ examinations will consist of multiple-choice questions and will be of one mark each. Each question will have four alternatives out of which only one answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking. The TET will consist of two papers. A person who wants to be a teacher for Classes 1 to 5 will write Paper 1. A person who wants to be a teacher for Classes 6 to 8 will write Paper 2.

If a candidate has both D.El.Ed and B.Ed. qualifications, a candidate holding a D.El.Ed and a B.Ed. and intending to be a teacher either for classes 1 to 5 or classes 6 to 8 are only eligible to appear in both the examinations (paper 1 and paper ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌2).
