On its official website, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced that the Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) would be held on February 8, 2026 (Sunday). The exam will be conducted in twenty different languages in 132 cities throughout the country.
CTET 2025 Paper I is going to be held for the recruitment of school teachers for classes 1 to 5. Paper II will be conducted for the appointment of teachers for classes 6 to 8.
Candidates wanting to apply are asked to only download the Information from the above-mentioned website and to read it thoroughly before submitting their application.

Option 1: The requirement for General category is 50% of the total marks, SC/ST/OBC/PwD is 45% of the total marks in Class 12. Also 2, year Diploma course in Elementary Education has been successfully completed. Option 2: The 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) degree must be completed. Option 3: The individual should hold a bachelor's degree and must have also completed their B.Ed. |
