AEIAT Result 2026 OUT: 2,768 Candidates Qualify for Next Stage, Check Details

The State Examination Board Gujarat has announced the Assistant Education Inspector Aptitude Test (AEIAT) 2026 results, conducted on March 1, 2026. Out of over 25,000 registered candidates, a total of 17,119 candidates appeared for the exam, while 8,872 remained absent, resulting in an overall attendance of 65.87%.

Notably, only eight candidates scored above 150 marks out of 200, while around 2,020 candidates crossed the 80-mark benchmark, highlighting the difficulty level of the examination.

Exam Centres and Recruitment Details

The AEIAT 2026 exam was conducted across 137 centres and 1,302 blocks in major cities, including Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, and Surat. The exam is being held for recruitment to Class-III posts through direct selection.

What’s Next After AEIAT Result 2026?

Candidates who have qualified in the preliminary exam will now appear for the main examination, which will include both descriptive and objective-type questions.

As per board guidelines, candidates up to seven times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted category-wise for the next stage. It is important to note that the preliminary exam is only qualifying in nature, and the final selection will be based on performance in the main exam.
