AFCAT 1 Exam 2026 to Be Held Tomorrow; Check Shift Timings, Reporting Time and Exam Day Guidelines

The AFCAT (Indian Air Force Common Entrance Test) will be held tomorrow, January 31st, 2026, throughout India at various testing centres across India. The admit card for this test should already have been printed by the candidate. 

The AFCAT (Indian Air Force Common Entrance Test) will be held in two shifts, Morning shift (from 9:45 Am to 11:45 Am) and Evening shift (from 2:45 Pm to 4:45 Pm). In addition to scheduled start times, the candidate must arrive no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled testing time to allow for check-in. 

The AFCAT will serve as the standard method for recruiting officers into the Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical), and Ground Duty (Non-Technical) branches of the Indian Air Force's flight officer training program.

What to Carry on AFCAT 1 Exam Day

Students should make sure to carry all the necessary documents to the exam centre when they go to give the exam:

• Printed AFCAT Admit Card 
• Valid Photo ID Proof 
• Passport-size photographs

AFCAT 1 Exam Day Guidelines and Instructions

To avoid any issues or disqualification, candidates are advised to strictly follow these exam day guidelines:

• Confirm the shift timings, which will be visible on the admit card
• Candidates must check the exact date, address, and then plan how they are going to travel
• To avoid any problems in future, it is a must for candidates to go to the centre at least 60 minutes before
• Electronic gadgets, digital watches, calculators, and smart devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall
