AIBE 20 Result 2025 Declared: 1.74 Lakh Candidates Qualify, Scorecards Soon on allindiabarexam.com

The Bar Council of India (BCI) has announced that AIBE 20 ( All India Bar Examination XX) Result 2025, as informed by sources Bar and Bench. Out of all 2,51,968 candidates who have given the exam, 1,74,386 candidates are successfully qualified. The AIBE 20 scorecards are predicted to release a bit later on January 7, on the official website ‍‍‍‍‍allindiabarexam.com  

The AIBE was conducted on 30th November, 2025, across 399 examination centres in pan India. Before the declaration of results, the BCI released the answer key so that the candidates can check their progress. 

20 Questions Dropped After Review of Objections

According to the answer key, there are 20 questions and five questions are in each set and these questions are set in every paper. 

Following the exam, a Monitoring Committee constituted by the BCI reviewed objections submitted by candidates. Based on the reviews mentioned below:

• Five questions were withdrawn from the original set of 100 questions.
   
• For two questions where more than one option was found to be correct, candidates selecting either correct option were awarded full marks.

As a result of these revisions, the final evaluation of AIBE 20 has been conducted out of 95 marks instead of 100.

AIBE 20 Qualifying Criteria and Cut-Off Marks

As per the prescribed qualifying criteria:

• General and OBC candidates must score 43 marks, which is 45% of 95 marks, to clear the examination.
   
• SC, ST, and PwD candidates: Minimum of 38 marks to qualify.

Candidates meeting the cutoff will be declared successful and deemed eligible to receive the Certificate of Practice (CoP), which allows advocates to practise law in India.

Scorecard Details and Next Steps

The AIBE 20 scorecard, expected to be released shortly, will include:

• Candidate’s name
   
• Roll number or registration number
   
• Marks obtained
   
• Qualifying status
   
• Category-wise cut-off
   
• Photograph and signature

Students who will qualify will get a certificate of Practice(CoP) as mentioned on the scoreboard. Moreover, aspirants are advised to go through the official website for further details and updates related to the scorecard instructions.
