The registration process has already started for AIIMS NORCET 10. This is a great opportunity for all the individuals who are interested in appearing for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET). Now, all the interested individuals can submit their application from the site of aiimsexams.ac.in. Although the last date to submit the registration is ending soon in the mid march, which is March 16, 2026. So, all the individuals are advised to submit the application as soon as possible to avoid later technical issues on the site due to mass traffic trying to attempt registration.

AIIMS NORCET 10 Exam Dates

  • Stage I (Preliminary Exam): April 11, 2026
  • Stage II (Main Exam): April 30, 2026

Know that both stages are equally important for all the students who want to be a part of the selection as Nursing Officers in AIIMS institutions.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for AIIMS NORCET 10 must meet the following educational qualifications:

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council recognised institute or university
    OR
  • B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognised institute or university
    OR
  • Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from a recognised institute, board, or council

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 30 years

Age relaxation will be applicable as per government norms.

Selection Process

For the ease of the candidates, the detailed process is shared below. The recruitment process consists of two stages:

Stage I – Preliminary Examination

  • Total Questions: 100 MCQs
  • Total Marks: 100
  • Duration: 90 minutes
  • Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deducted for each incorrect answer

Break-up of questions:

  • 20 MCQs from General Knowledge & Aptitude
  • 80 MCQs from Nursing syllabus

The question paper will be divided into 5 sections of 18 minutes each, with 20 questions per section.

Stage II – Main Examination

Candidates who qualify Stage I will appear for the Main Examination scheduled for April 30, 2026.

  • General / OBC: ₹3000
  • SC / ST / EWS: ₹2400

Payment can be made through:

  • Debit Card
  • Credit Card
  • Net Banking

Any transaction or processing charges will be borne by the candidate.
