AILET‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ 2026 Updated Answer Key and Result Live Soon: NLU Delhi to Release Both Together

It‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ is expected that National Law University Delhi will release both (answer key and result) on its official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The candidates are suggested to keep visiting the site again as the two updates are supposed to be dropped at the same ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌time.

AILET‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ 2026 was held on December 14, 2025. It was an admission test for law programmes (undergraduate and postgraduate) at NLU Delhi. To facilitate candidates in cross-checking their answers, the university released a provisional answer key on the day of the ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌exam. The objection window with regard to the provisional key was accessible till December 16, 2025, at 12 ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌pm.

After the scrutiny of the objections raised by the candidates, NLU Delhi is now going to issue the final answer key. The final key to be issued will, in fact, be the one to be used for the preparation of the AILET 2026 result. There will be no more challenges or objections allowed after the announcement of the final answer key.

AILET 2026 Result Update

The AILET 2026 result is slated to be declared together with the release of the final answer key. As a result, candidates will be empowered to access their scores and ranks via the official website. The merit list will serve as a basis for counselling and seat allotment.

It is worthy of note by candidates that the results will be based on the final answer key only. Also, the ranks displayed will be used for the admission process and will not be subject to change.

If the final answer key is available, candidates may log in and check it by performing the following operations:

• the final answer sheet will be displayed on the screen
• Save it for future reference after writing it down or saving it on a PC 

What Happens After the Final Answer Key

After‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ the final answer key and results are available to the public, NLU Delhi will be sending the list of qualified candidates for counselling. The counselling session for AILET 2026 is scheduled to commence from January 2026. Candidates will be required to register for counselling on their own and follow the instructions for document verification given as per the time slot set by the university.
