AP SET 2025 Notification Released: Application Form Begins January 9, Exam on March 28–29

The Notification of the AP SET 2025 is now live, not on the official website, but will be available soon dedicatedly there. So far, the notification has been published only in the newspaper of the state of Andhra Pradesh. Soon will be live on the apset.net.in and andhrauniversity.edu.in

Not much time is left to start the application form for APSET, which is releasing on the 9th January, 2026. 

AP SET 2025 Exam Dates & Mode

• Exam Dates: March 28 and March 29, 2026
• Exam Mode: Online Computer Based Test

This is noteworthy that the APSET exam in 2026 comes with some changes, as previously it was held in the format of an offline setting in a pen and paper mode, whereas this in 2026 it is destined to be in an online mode. 

AP SET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• General category candidates need to have at least 55% marks, not less than that, with a master’s degree or equivalent from a UGC recognized university.
   
• BC/SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender candidates are only required to have 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

AP SET 2025 Application Fee

• General Category: Rs 1650
• BC/EWS Category: Rs 1300
• SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: Rs 900

The fees for the application can be only paid using the online method using different payment methods.
