Bihar Applicant Shocked After Dog Photo Appears on Admit Card Instead of His Picture

A man from Bihar was left stunned after discovering that his admit card carried the photograph of a dog instead of his own for a court recruitment exam in Rohtas district.

The applicant, identified as Rakesh Kumar, had applied for a peon post in the district court nearly four years ago after a recruitment notification was issued. According to Kumar, he had successfully submitted his application and also received an acknowledgement receipt at the time of registration.

However, when admit cards for the March 15, 2026, examination were recently released, Kumar downloaded his hall ticket only to find that the photograph displayed on it was that of a Golden Retriever dog instead of his own image. Kumar said he had uploaded the correct photograph during the application process, which he claims can be verified through the acknowledgement receipt he received after submitting his form.

The unexpected error has reportedly caused him embarrassment in his local community, he said.

Following the incident, Kumar stated that he has filed multiple complaints with the concerned recruitment authorities requesting that the mistake be corrected. However, he claims that no response has been received so far, even though the exam date is approaching.

Kumar has urged officials to rectify the error at the earliest so that he can appear for the examination without any complications.
