Bihar School Examination Board Invites Objections to Intermediate Answer Key Till March 6; Evaluation Begins in Muzaffarpur

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has opened the window for candidates and stakeholders to raise objections against the Intermediate (Class 12) answer key. Objections can be submitted through the official portals biharboardonline.com and objection.biharboardonline.com until 5:00 PM on March 6.

The Board has clarified that representations received after the deadline will not be entertained. All objections will be reviewed by subject experts, and a revised answer key will be issued if necessary.

Objection Process and Marking Scheme

For all theoretical subjects under Intermediate Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational streams, objective-type questions carried 50 per cent of the total marks. The board used OMR-based answer sheets for evaluating objective questions across subjects.

To submit objections, candidates must log in using their roll code and roll number. Objections can be filed subject-wise through the online system. The Board has also activated a direct link to provide updates related to the Intermediate evaluation process.

Evaluation Work Underway in Muzaffarpur

Meanwhile, the evaluation of Bihar Board Class 12 answer sheets has commenced in multiple districts. In Muzaffarpur, checking began at five centres on the first day. Approximately 6 per cent of Intermediate answer sheets were evaluated in the district, while data entry was completed for only about 1 per cent.

• Chapman Evaluation Centre: Out of 58,850 copies of English, Urdu, and Psychology received, 3,072 were checked. However, data entry for these copies had not begun on the first day.
• District School: Received 56,171 Hindi answer sheets. Nearly 3 per cent were evaluated, and data entry was completed for almost all assessed scripts.
• DN High School: Handling 55,130 copies of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science. Around 3 per cent were checked, but data entry was yet to start.
• Marwari High School: Assessing Accountancy, Philosophy, History, and Economics copies. A total of 512 copies (less than 1 per cent) were evaluated, and all were uploaded into the system.
• Mukherjee Seminary School: Evaluating Geography and Home Science papers, with nearly 3 per cent assessed on the first day.
