CBSE Board 2025 10th, 12th Result LIVE Updates: Results not Today, Likely to Release Next Week

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has clarified the news that, it will not release the class 10 and 12 results this week of May. The result is likely expected in the upcoming week of May.Students who gave the exam can check their respective results and the scorecards on the official website of cbse, cbse.gov.in . A senior CBSE official has said that the result date is not finalised yet, and no such official announcement has been made.

“Results were being expected today, but it is not going to be generated today or later in this week”, it was confirmed by a CBSE official confirmed and does not wish to be identified.

About 44 lakh students around the country are now waiting for their class 10 and 12 results to be announced. This year, 2025, the board exams were held from February 15 to 18th March 2025. There were widespread rumours across social media that the exams would be declared on 2nd May, 2025, but CBSE has dismissed all the rumours by claiming all these to be false. Officials retold that the results have no confirmed dates fixed till now.

CBSE Class 10 and 12 Results: Where and What to check?

Once the results for the CBSE class 10 and 12 are released, the candidates will be able to check the results and download their provisional mark sheets from the official website cbse.gov.in . Students can view their results and further download the provisional marksheet from their account using their School Number, Roll Number, Admit Card ID, and DOB (date of birth). Students who had downloaded their provisional results online can later collect their original certificates and marksheets from their respective schools.

Previous Year Stats

In the previous academic year, 2024, the CBSE results were declared on 13th May. The overall pass percentage for the 12th standard was 87.98%, and for class 10 it was 93.60%, with a 0.48% improvement from the previous year.
