CBSE Board Exams 2026 Cancelled in Middle East from March 7–11 for Class 10, 12

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cancelled Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations scheduled between March 7 and March 11, 2026, in several Middle East countries due to the ongoing situation in the region, which is not good, which has led to cancellation. 

The cancellation applies to CBSE examination centres located in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

Exams Cancelled for Class 10

CBSE Board Exams 2026 Official Notice 

The notifications clearly state that the class 10 exam, which was scheduled from March 7 to March 11, 2026, is not taking place now and has been cancelled in the region of the Middle East.

Additionally, the exams that were earlier postponed on the following dates will also stand cancelled:

• March 2, 2026
• March 5, 2026
• March 6, 2026

This marks the third revision in the examination schedule for CBSE students in these countries.

Also, one more important thing that CBSE has stated is that the method for declaring the results of Class 10 students in the Middle East will be announced separately at a later stage.

Update on Class 12 Exams

All the students of Class 12th should know that the exam, which was planned to take place on March 7, 2026, is not taking place and has been postponed. 

CBSE has confirmed that:

• All the revised dates of the exams will be announced later, and not now at this current moment.
• As per the Board, they will review the situation on March 7. 
• Further instructions regarding exams scheduled from March 9 onwards will be issued after the review

CBSE Board Exams 2026 Overview

The CBSE Board Exams 2026 began on February 17, 2026.

Key details:

• Class 10 exams: February 17 to March 11, 2026
• Class 12 exams: February 17 to April 10, 2026
• Exam timing: Single shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM

This year, around 44 lakh students are appearing for the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations across India and overseas centres.
