CSIR UGC NET December 2025 Registration Deadline Ends Today; Correction Window Opens on October 27, 2025

The National Testing Agency (NTA) had been reminding that the window of registration for the CSIR UGC NET (Dec. 2025) examination would end on the last day (24th Oct.). It is therefore, to the advantage of the candidates those who wish to get the JRF and be the officers of the science faculty, to get their submissions done within the required time at csirnet.nta.nic.in

The registration window is ending on October 24, 2025

The end day to contribute the fee is October 25, 2025

The correction window date is October 27 to 29, 2025

Examination date is December 18, 2025

Examination Schedule & Activities

Application Correction	You can make corrections to your application from October 27 to October 29, 2025
Exam City Announcement	The city where you'll take the exam will be announced later on the website.
Admit Card Download	Admit cards will be available for download from the NTA website at a later date
Examination Date	The exam will be held on December 18, 2025.
Exam Duration	The test will be 3 hours long (180 minutes).
Exam Timings	Shift 1: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and Shift 2: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Answer Key Release	The provisional answer key will be published on the website after the exam (date to be announced).
Exam Language	The question paper will be available in English and Hindi.

Fee Details

General category: ₹1150

OBC (Non, Creamy Layer)/EWS: ₹600

Payment by: Indian Cards (Debit, Credit), Net Banking, or UPI, are the methods by which one may make a payment for a demanded fee.

Mode: A Computer based test (CBT).

Shift timing - The test will be in two shifts, the first from 9 AM to 12 noon and the second from 3 PM to 6 PM.

Language - In English and Hindi, in the event of any discrepancies, the English version will be deemed the official one.

Correction Window Details

The correction window will be operational from October 27 to 29, 2025. Candidates are permitted to review and change the subject preference, examination city, as well as the documents sent, during that period. Nevertheless, details of one's personal information such as name and date of birth cannot be changed.
