CTET Exam Timing 2026 Released: Check Paper 1 & Paper 2 Shift Timings, Reporting Time

CTET exam timing is finally out by the CBSE. So, according to the official notice, the CTET is going to be conducted on 7th and 8th February, 2026, in two sessions per day.  So, according to the particular schedule, Paper II is going to be happening in morning shift from 9:30 to 12 PM, and Paper I will be in the afternoon shift from 2:30 to 5:00 PM.

The CTET February 2026 exam will be conducted in two sessions on the same day. Candidates must strictly follow the reporting and entry timings to avoid disqualification.

Students should definitely report 60 minutes prior to the exam for a smooth verification process.

CTET Shift Timings 2026

• Shift 1 (Morning): 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM – Paper II
• Shift 2 (Afternoon): 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM – Paper I

Entry gates will close exactly at the exam start time. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre after the last entry time.

CTET Admit Card 2026 Release Date

The CTET Admit Card 2026 is expected to be released on February 4, 2026. The admit card is mandatory for entry into the exam centre and will contain details such as:

• Roll number and application details

Candidates must download the admit card from ctet.nic.in using their application number and date of birth.

Candidates must carry the following items to the CTET exam centre:

• Valid photo ID proof 
• Passport-size photograph
• Basic stationery
• Transparent water bottle

CTET Exam Day Guidelines 2026

• Reach the exam centre at least 90 minutes before the reporting time
• Entry gates close at 9:30 AM for Paper II and 2:30 PM for Paper I
• Late entry is not permitted under any circumstances
• Verify your name, paper, and shift details on the admit card
• Follow instructions issued by centre staff during verification and seating
