The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the CUET PG 2025 results yesterday, on 9th May 2025. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can access their results and scorecards by visiting the official website of CUET PG at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG . 

According to the National Testing Agency, 6,54,019 candidates had registered for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG) in 2025. Out of these 6.5 Lakh candidates, 5,23,032 students appeared for the exams. The exam was held in 43 shifts that spanned several days in March and April 2025.

This year, the exam has witnessed a hike in the number of students actually giving the exam (attendance percentage), which NTA attributes to the better planning of logistics. Candidates were given the exam cities in near proximity to their current or permanent residence, exam dates were announced in advance, which made planning for students easier.

Steps to Download the Scorecard for CUET PG 2025

To download their scorecards, students need to log in using their application number and date of birth (DOB). Check the steps below to get a step-by-step guide on viewing your CUET PG 2025 results and scorecards:-

• Visit the official CUET PG website at http://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG .
• Click on the link on the homepage saying “CUET PG Result 2025”.
• Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and the security code shown on the screen.
• Hit the Submit button, your CUET PG 2025 scorecard appears on the screen.
• Download your scorecard and save the result PDF.
• Take out the printout for future reference and the counselling procedures.

CUET PG Results 2025: Final Answer Key, Two Questions Dropped

Yesterday, with the release of the results of CUET PG 2025, NTA also released the final answer key for the questions. Two questions were dropped from the paper, one from Social Work (Subject Code: HUQP21, Ques. ID: 1780704667) and the other from Psychology (Subject Code: HUQP20, Ques. ID: 3016983426).

In the past four years, CUET PG has seen a reformative rise in the number of students actually giving the test, which reflects the improved accessibility and user-friendly allotment by the NTA. Below is a comparative data analysis:

The number of registered candidates in 2025 (current year) is less than the previous year, but the attendance rate of the candidates is nearly 80%, the highest in the past years, since the exam was started.

The final merit list would be prepared by the participating universities and institutions based on the results and scorecard released by the NTA. Each university will have its own counselling process independently, on the basis of CUET PG 2025 results and scorecards.
