National Testing Agency (NTA) has welcomed applications for Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate programs (CUET PG) 2026. Therefore, the candidates who are willing to pursue a Master's degree at the Universities administered under the Central government and the other collaborating institutions may go for online applications through the proper portal at exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/ .
The registration period for CUET PG 2026, as per the published schedule, will be available till January 14, 2026. Candidates must complete the application form as soon as possible and not wait for the last day because they will probably face some technical problems at that time.
The CUET PG 2026 examination is planned for March 2026. The exam will be done by means of computer-based mode. The precise information about date of the exam, city of the exam, centre address, and the shift timings will be made known to the candidates through the admit card, which will be released a few days before the exam.
Given the 2026 cycle, CUET PG is going to be a compulsory exam for 157 subjects at the master's level. The educational institutions that are ready to accept students will be the ones to decide on the basis of the scores obtained in CUET PG. Candidates will be provided with access to examination locations that have been spread out over 292 cities, which also includes 16 international destinations, so that those within India and outside can sit for the test.
NTA has also allowed a small correction option for the candidates who want to modify details in their already submitted application forms. This correction window portal will be accessible from 18 to 20 January 2026. Within this time frame, candidates are expected to inspect and spot the errors in their forms and then fix them. After the end of the correction period, no further changes will be permitted.
According to NTA, the candidates should keep in mind that the email ID and the mobile number which have been used during the registration process should be of either the candidate or their parents. Any official communication like exam notification, admit card updates, and result announcement will be sent only to the registered contact details.
Moreover, a couple of days ago, the National Testing Agency (NTA) issued a very important notification for students appearing for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) examinations. In the notice, the agency requested that the students make sure the information regarding the Aadhaar, category, and disability certificates is accurate and up-to-date. Candidates must be definitely on their toes and it should be their own responsibility to see to it that all personal and category-related details filled in the forms are correct before the final submission of the forms.
The candidates are responsible for monitoring the official NTA websites, nta.ac.in and exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/ , to get updated notifications, guidelines, and all other news related to the examination.
