CUET PG 2026 Notification expected in December 2025

The CUET PG 2026 examination is expected to be administered by NTA, and the registration is expected to start in January 2026. The CUET PG is a test of the gateway to admissions to many postgraduate courses in central and participating universities in India.

The CUET PG 2026 notice shall be issued in December 2025, where the graduates are to be admitted in postgraduate programmes to be offered by 42 universities. The test will be carried out between March 13 to April 1, 2026, in 43 shifts.

The possible timeline is:

• Release to notification: December 2025.
• Registration Start: January 2026
• Closing Date: Anticipated in February 2026
• Exam Dates: March 13 - April 1, 2026

CUET PG 2026 will offer postgraduate degree courses, such as MA, MSc, MCom, MTech, MFA, and professional degree courses, such as MBA, BEd, LLB and LLM courses. Judging by the statistics of the previous years, NTA offers the examination of 157 programs of different streams such as Science, Humanities, Common, Languages, Technology and Acharya studies.

Applicants will be required to go to the professional site on exams.nta.ac.in to accomplish their registration. A candidate is required to submit only one application, and in no circumstances will he or she be permitted to fill more than one application form. Candidates who present more than one application will be strictly dealt with.

The CUET PG examination is registered to attract lakhs of candidates per year in the various streams. The academic session of 2024 recorded the registration of more than 3 lakh candidates in the Common stream alone, and there was enormous participation in the Science, Humanities, and Language streams.
