CUET PG 2026–27 Applications Open; Exams Scheduled for March, Says Central University of Karnataka

Common University Entrance Test has started the postgraduate registration process, and candidates can now apply at the official website. The registration process started on the 14th of December, 2025, allowing all the candidates to submit their applications at the earliest. This announcement is made by the Central University of Karnataka. Candidates have around one month to apply on the official NTA website as the registration is ending on the 14th of January, 2026.

The exam will be conducted by NTA as per the information given by Central University of Karnataka Vice-Chancellor Prof. Battu Satyanarayana in the media conference, and not only this, the exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode at the NTA official portal. New courses introduced at the Central University of Karnataka

• M.A. in Library and Information Science
• M.Sc. in Botany
• M.Sc. in Zoology
• M.Sc. in Statistics and Data Analytics
• M.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

Seat intake is an important factor to notice. Read the programme-wise information given below on seat intake to know the information:

• Most postgraduate programmes at the university will have an intake of 30 seats 
• Most MBA programmes will offer 60 seats
• BEd and MEd programmes will take 50 students each.
• MTech course is different, as in this, there is a 50-50 split, which means half of the seats will be filled by CUET PG and the remaining half through GATE scores.

Eligibility and Reservation Details

The eligibility criteria of CUET PG 2026 are easy to understand, and are for students studying in their final year of the UG programme or in the fifth or sixth semester are eligible to apply and register in the CUET PG 2026. Additionally, reservation plays an important role in CUET. Looking at that, each postgraduate programme will reserve three seats for candidates.

• First, from the Kalyana Karnataka region
• Second, from the EWS region, candidates belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections

There are more than 200+ examination centres for conducting CUET PG, 2026. Including 16 international locations, making it easy for students outside to take the Cuet PG 2026 examination. In Karnataka alone, the exam will take place in 15 cities with centres located in regions including:
