Access to the IIT Bombay site is now granted for the submission of the application forms Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2026. The candidates appearing in the test will have a chance to apply for the exam till October 31, 2025, without a request for a late fee. A late fee of ₹500 can be paid along with the application if it is submitted by November 7, 2025, only.

Schedule‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ for Examination

The examination date is out now. On January 18, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, the UCEED 2026 examination will be held. This is a mandatory test for candidates willing to get admission to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur

Dates for answer key and results of UCEED 2026

Within‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ a day after the examination, a provisional answer key will be put up on the website by IIT Bombay dated 20 January 2026. On the part of the applicants, a two-days window (till 22 January 2026) is given for them to send their representations or opinions regarding the answer key. Final answer sheet will be made available on 28 January 2026 and results will be declared on 6 March, ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌2026.
