DU SOL 2025: Registration open and 2nd Phase starts after June 10

Delhi University’s School of Open Learning (DU SOL) has started the admission process for the 2025-26 academic year. Students who want to apply can register online at the DU SOL Official Website. Within just a few hours, over 4,468 students submitted their applications. This year, SOL is offering admission in 19 courses for both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

DU SOL offers various Undergraduate courses, including BA, BCom (Hons), BA (Hons) Economics, and BBA FIA. The admission for PG courses will start later this week. The postgraduate programs include MBA, MCom, and courses in languages and social sciences.

How to Apply

At first, students need to fill out a basic information form to get details about the available courses and the required documents. The second phase of admission will begin on June 10, when students can choose their course based on their marks and qualifications.

• Option to Switch to Regular College via CUET: Students taking admission in SOL can still apply for regular colleges through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). If they get selected in a regular college, they can cancel their SOL admission and move to that college. DU SOL will refund the fee after deducting a small processing charge.
• New Update – Automatic DEB ID through Academic Bank of Credit: For the first time, students will automatically get a Distance Education Board (DEB) ID through their Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) ID. This will help those who may not get a seat in regular colleges to continue their education smoothly.

DU SOL Admission Process 2025: Step-by-Step

The admission process has four main phases, those al 4 phases are mentioned below:

• Registration Phase: Students first need to register and provide their basic details.
• ABC & DEB ID Creation (June 5–10): After registration, students will be guided to create their Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) ID, which will collect their academic credits. The DEB ID will also be generated automatically during this time.
• Course Eligibility & Selection: Based on students’ marks, they will receive course suggestions. They can then choose suitable courses.
• Final Submission: In the final phase, students need to fill out the examination form and upload their documents.  After June 10, document verification will begin. Students will get three days to complete this step.

DU SOL PG Admission 2025: Starting Soon

The registration process for postgraduate courses like MBA, MCom, Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Political Science, and Library Science (MLIS) will begin soon. More details will be announced this week by the SOL administration.
