The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati has extended the deadline for GATE 2026 application correction, thereby providing a significant relief to the candidates. The candidates are allowed to make necessary changes in their application forms till November 10, 2025.

How to Edit Your GATE 2026 Application Form

The payee can carry out the transaction via the Internet by using a credit/debit card, UPI, or net banking.

Admit Card Release and Exam Schedule

GATE 2026 Admit Card will come out in the first month of 2026. Candidates should take with them to the examination hall a printout of the admit card and a photo ID card that is valid. The photograph and the signature should be clearly visible on the admit card for it to be accepted.

The GATE 2026 exams are scheduled for February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. The duration of each paper will be three hours (four hours for candidates with compensatory time). Once the time is up, the test will automatically end.
