Gujarat SEB TAT Higher Secondary 2026 Notification Out; Registration Starts Feb 10

The Gujarat State Examination Board has released an update stating that the Teacher Aptitude Test (Higher Secondary) 2026 notification is now available for all individuals. From today, all individuals can apply online on the OJAS portal until 19th Feb 2026. 

This is not an ordinary examination, as this will decide the candidates' eligibility for teaching positions in registered government and private higher secondary schools across Gujarat.

• Candidates must meet qualification requirements prescribed for Higher Secondary teachers in Gujarat.           
• This is something that 
• Final-year Postgraduate and B.Ed students (2025-26 session) can also apply, subject to document verification before selection.

Application Fee

• General category: ₹500
• SC/ST/SEBC/EWS/PH: ₹400
• Payment mode: Online only (non-refundable)

Exam Pattern & Selection Process

The selection will be conducted in two stages:

Preliminary Examination

• Objective (MCQ) type
• 200 marks
• Includes General Studies and subject-specific questions
• Negative marking applicable

Main Examination

• Descriptive format
• 200 marks
• Only candidates clearing prelim cut-off will be shortlisted

3. Fill personal and academic details
4. Upload required documents
5. Pay the application fee online
6. Submit and download confirmation page
