An official notification has recently been released by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) stating that there are over 5000 vacancies for police constables. Moreover, it is to keep in mind that the application process, which was started on the 11th of january is soon to be ending on the 25th.

Haryana Police Constable Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility requirements before applying:

Educational Qualification

• Should have a 12th marksheet from a known board  
• Must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit up to 10th class

Age Limit 

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years

CET Requirement

• The CET Group C qualification is mandatory for all applicants

How to Apply for Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 

To apply for this exam, before the 25th of January, candidates need to follow the registration process. 

1. Firstly, candidates need to go to the official website- ‍‍‍‍hssc.gov.in 
2. Tap on the “Haryana Police Constable Recruitment” option that comes on the screen 
3. Now, candidates need to log in with their credentials
4. Fill in personal, educational, and CET Group C details
5. Upload the documents that are asked to register, like a scanned photograph, signatures, etc. 
6. Review the application form carefully
7. Submit the form online; there is no fee required 

Haryana Police Constable Selection Process 

The selection process will be conducted in the following stages:

1. Candidates can be shortlisted on the CET Group C score
2. Height and Chest measurement, which is the Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
3. Running test, that is, Physical Screening Test
