The Indian Air Force (IAF) has started the registration process for the Agniveer Vayu positions under its Agnipath scheme. The candidates who are interested and eligible for the posts can apply online starting today, on 11th July 2025, till 31st July 2025. Candidates can apply online through the official website at agnipathvayu.cdac.in. The opportunity is available only for unmarried males and females for a duration of four years. The Selection test will start from 25th September 2025 this year.

Educational Qualifications

• Science: Candidates who are aspiring to appear in the Recruitment must have passed the 10+2/Intermediate equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and English from the Educational Boards with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English. 
• Alternatively, candidates can also have a Three-Year diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Automobile/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology) from any of the State, Central, or UT recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in the English Diploma course.
• Other than Science: They must have passed the Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any of stream or subjects from the Education Boards, recognised by any of the Central, State, and UT with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and separately in English.

Steps to Apply

1. Navigate to the official website of IAF at agnipathvayu.cdac.in.
2. Hover over the ‘Announcement’ Section, and click on it.
3. Register first on the portal and then proceed with the application form.
4. After successful registration, move ahead with the application form.
5. Upload the documents and pay the application fee, and click submit.
6. Take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

Application Fee

The candidates must submit the application fee of Rs. 550 and including the GST, by your Debit Cards/ Credit cards/ Internet Banking gateway, etc. Candidates are advised to follow the instructions of the payment gateway and print the transaction detail receipt for future reference.
