IBPS PO 2025 Registration Begins for 5208 Posts, Click here for the Eligibility Criteria and Steps to Apply

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has started the registration process for recruiting the 5208 eligible candidates for the vacancy of probationary officers (PO), management trainees in the various participating banks of India. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official link at ibps.in , and clicking on the link IBPS PO Application Form. After this ‘new registration’ can be selected and made available for the candidates.

The last date for registration and payment of the application fee is 21st July 2025. After this date, 5 August, would be the last date for getting the printout of the application form.

Candidates must put in their mobile number and email id that is active and maintained by the candidate. The number and ID must be active till the last step of the recruitment process, as mentioned in the published notification.

IBPS PO 2025 Vacancies in Different Banks

This year, there are various banks like the Central Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, Bank of India, Canara Bank, and various others. Here is a list of the participating banks and the number of vacancies in them:

Union Bank of India, UCO Bank, and Indian Bank have not yet reported the vacancies in their separate notifications.

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS PO 2025

For applying to the IBPS PO 2025, the interested candidates must meet some certain eligibility criteria, like:

• Must be an Indian citizen. 
• Completed the Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60 percent or equivalent.
• Final year students would not be eligible to apply in this recruitment cycle.
• As per the cut-off date, the age limit is of 20 to 30 years.
• Age relaxation would be given only to the reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC (According to the age relaxation rules of the Central Government)

Application fees for IBPS PO 2025

Including the intimation charges of the online payment and the Application fees, the charge totals to Rs. 175 (including GST) for the SC/ST/PwBD candidates. Rs. 850 (including GST) for the General candidates. The bank transaction charges of the online payment of the application fees and intimation fees would be borne only by the candidates.

Steps to Apply for IBPS PO 2025

• Navigate to the official website at ibpsreg.ibps.in .
• Select on the new registration link for the new candidates. Candidates who have already registered in the previous cycle can use their previous login credentials to log in to their portal.
• The Application form is open, fill it and upload the scanned documents like photograph, signature, and educational certificates in the prescribed format.
• Fill out the required application fee and download your application form for future reference.

Admission in this examination will be solely provisional and without verification of the eligibility documents. Ineligible candidates would not be allowed in the interview. Candidates who applied for scribe in their application form can fill in the details of the scribe at the time of saving the examination hall ticket.

The candidates who are applying for the EWS category, their an EWS certificate must be valid for the year 2025-26 for the financial year of 2024-25. The candidates applying under the OBC NCL (Non-Creamy Layer), their certificates should be issued on or after 1st April 2025, till the date of the interview.
