ICAI CA Final, Inter Admit Card 2026 OUT: Download

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has officially released the CA Final and Intermediate Admit Cards for the May 2026 session, marking the beginning of the final phase of preparation for thousands of candidates across the country. With the exams set to commence from May 5, 2026, candidates can now access their hall tickets through the ICAI e-services portal.

This year’s release is particularly significant, not just because of the admit cards, but also due to changes in the exam schedule and a major shift in exam frequency going forward.

Revised CA Intermediate Exam Schedule 2026

ICAI had earlier revised the Intermediate exam dates, pushing them slightly forward. The updated schedule is as follows:

• Group 1: May 5, May 7, May 9, 2026
• Group 2: May 11, May 13, May 15, 2026

Earlier, the exams were scheduled to begin on May 3. Candidates are advised to rely only on the revised timetable to avoid confusion.

Exam Timings Remain Unchanged

Despite the shift in dates, ICAI has confirmed that exam timings will remain the same:

• All Papers: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Candidates must report to the exam centre well before the reporting time mentioned on their admit cards to complete verification procedures smoothly.

Candidates can follow these steps to download their admit cards:

1. Visit the official ICAI e-services portal: eservices.icai.org
2. Log in using your SSP ID and password
3. Click on the link for CA Intermediate/Final May 2026 Admit Card
4. Verify all details displayed on the screen
5. Download and take a clear printout for exam day

Major Policy Change: CA Final Exams Now Twice a Year

In a significant move, ICAI has announced that CA Final examinations will now be conducted twice a year, starting from the May 2026 session.

• New Cycle: May and November
• Discontinued Cycle: January attempt

This change has been introduced after considering feedback from students, faculty, and industry stakeholders. The aim is to provide candidates with more structured preparation time and reduce exam fatigue caused by frequent attempts.
