IGNOU Extends January 2026 Admission, Re-Registration Deadline To February 15, Details Inside

The date of IGNOU admission was earlier decided to end on 31st January, 2026. Although it is now extended till the february 15. To all those candidates who have not submitted the application, now have the opportunity to submit it as the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced a fresh extension of the application deadline for January 2026. • All those students who are in the online programme can study online by visiting the digital platformIt is necessary to have a device with a good internet connection in order to learn effectively
• Having knowledge about the online learning systems and tools will help in the learning process for all the students. 
• IGNOU will not provide physical study materials for online programmes.
• All course content and learning resources will be available in digital format only.
• Students who prefer printed study materials and direct academic support should opt for ODL programmes.
• ODL programmes follow a more traditional learning approach.

Steps to apply for the IGNOU 2026

1. Head over to the web browser and look for ignou.ac.in.
2. Then, after clicking on register online and selecting a fresh admissions.
3. After that, select new registration and fill in the registration details. 
4. Finally, select a username and password to submit the form and then log in with those details
5. After that, the final step is to fill in the application details and select the desired programme and submit the form.
