IGNOU Extends Registration and Application Submission to 31st July 2025, Click here for Steps to fill Fresh Form

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for application in the OD and Online programs to 31st July 2025. The Re-registration process was extended before for a fortnight, i.e., from 30th June 2025 to 15th July 2025. The students who are interested for the fresh admissions in the academic year 2025, in July month, now have an extended period of another fortnight where they can register for the programmes they are interested in.

IGNOU has extended the deadline for Registration and Application for all the programmes in online distance learning and online mode. The list of programmes falling in these categories is listed on the official website at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. Candidates can check the program interested in and apply ASAP without waiting for the last date.

IGNOU confirmed the extension today on 16th July 2025, through a social media post saying that “Further Extension of the last date for July 2025 Fresh Admission is extended till 31st July, 2025 in respect of all notified programmes offered in ODL and Online mode.”

Steps to fill the Application Form for fresh Admissions in July 2025

• Navigate to the official website at ignou.ac.in.
• Hover over the ‘Register Online’ tab, click on it: Click on ‘the Fresh Admissions’ option.
• Click on the ‘New Registrations’ tab.
• Fill in all the required details for registration.
• Set the ‘Username’ and ‘Password’.
• Fill in all the required information asking and submit the form.
• Students must have received the login details on the registered and submitted email ID and phone number, login on the portal using the same, and fill in all the details.
• Select the programme you want to study.
• Now, submit the IGNOU Registration form.
