IIM Ahmedabad Increases CAT Cut-off to 95%

The IIM Ahmedabad PI Shortlist for the year 2026 will be declared soon. It is expected to be declared in the first week of January 2026. In addition to this, the students selected in the Shortlist will go for Personal Interview (PI) rounds for PGP 2026-28 batch.

IIM-Ahmadabad has already been communicated with the students that they have to obtain minimum 95 percentile marks in the CAT examination that would take place in the year 2025. The expectation level of marks has increased this year. It was around 80 percent last year but it increased to 15 percent. It also needs to be kept in mind that the result of the CAT examination that was held in the year 2025 was out on approximately 24th December.

How to Check IIM Ahmedabad PI Shortlist Status 2026

Candidates who have chosen IIM Ahmedabad while filling the application form, and got shortlisted have to give personal interviews. Once it is live, the PI shortlist and registration form will also be live on the official website.

Steps to check PI status and confirm participation:

1. Visit the official website of ‍‍‍‍‍Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad
2. Click to the “Announcements” section
3. Click on “Admission Status: PGP 2026–28 Batch”
4. Enter your credentials like CAT registration number and registered email ID
5. Click on “Go”
6. Now, you can look at your PI shortlist status
7. Complete and submit the PI confirmation form, if shortlisted
