IIM‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Mumbai Introduces Two-Year Hybrid MBA for Working Professionals

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai has introduced a 2-year Blended Post Graduate Programme in Management (MBA-BPGP) specially designed for those employees professionals who want to enhance their managerial and technical skills without stopping their careers.

About the Programme

MBA-BPGP combines the best of both worlds with a mix of live online sessions and on-campus learning. Apart from the academic rigor, the students get real-world exposure to the concepts through case studies, projects, and seminars. The students can choose any one of the various specializations such as Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Data Science, Human Resource, and Environmental Management.

IIM Mumbai quoted the course aim as to “blend management fundamentals with technical insights to build future-ready leaders who can thrive in a fast-changing business environment.”

Along‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ with the above, this program features 1,200 hours of immersive learning material, the IIM Mumbai digital library, and real-time interaction with the faculty and leaders from the industry. Group discussions, leadership workshops, and capstone projects will be the modes of activities through which participants will enhance their teamwork and decision-making ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌skills.

Curriculum Overview

The curriculum spread over eight modules in two academic years is designed to cover the core subjects such as Operation Management, Marketing, Financial Analysis, Strategy, and Organizational Behavior. The first-year curriculum is aimed at imparting basic management principles, while the second one is for specialization.

Moreover, the students will be introduced to data-driven decision-making, analytics, and sustainable business strategies that will equip them to become leaders of innovations not only in local but also in international markets.

Eligibility‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Requirements and Application Process

Firstly, the candidates should be eligible to have these qualifications:

• They are required to have a degree of Bachelor's from a recognized university with at least 50% of the total aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD).
• By December 31, 2025, the candidate should have at least three years of full-time professional working experience.
• Moreover, the applicants should give evidence of a valid CAT/GMAT/GRE score not older than June 2020. If a candidate does not hold a valid score, he/she may appear for the IIM Mumbai Admission Test (IMAT) that is similar to the CAT ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌pattern.

Programme Fee and Support

The programme fee in total is ₹15 lakhs, while an educational loan is available to cover the fee through reputed banks.
