IISER IAT 2026 Registration OUT; Exam on June 7

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) has started the application process for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 today, March 5. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official website iiseradmission.in until April 13, 2026. The IAT is conducted for admission to the five-year BS-MS dual degree programme in science offered across IISER campuses. It is also used for admission to the four-year BS degree programmes in Engineering Sciences and Economic Sciences, which are offered exclusively at IISER Bhopal.

According to the official schedule, the application correction window will be open from April 16 to April 18, 2026. The admit cards are scheduled to be released on May 24, while the IAT 2026 examination will be conducted on June 7, 2026. The provisional answer key is also expected to be released on the same day as the exam.

IISER IAT 2026: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination in the science stream.
• General category candidates must have secured at least 60% marks.
• Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories must have secured a minimum of 55% marks.

IISER IAT 2026: Steps to Apply

1. Firstly, candidates need to visit the official website and do the registration process using the User ID and password
2. With the credentials, log in using the credentials which are generated and then access the application form
3. Enter all the credentials asked, like name, nationality, mobile number, 
4. See all the details mentioned in the form, then complete the payment

The tentative intake for the BS-MS/BS programmes is around 1,933 seats. Admissions are offered through the BS-MS programme at:
