IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: 637 Vacancies Announced at Panipat Refinery; Apply by Feb 20

The good news for all the individuals is that the Indian Oil Corporation Limited has invited 637 apprentice positions at the Panipat Refinery & Petrochemical Complex, Haryana. Now all the individuals can apply for that, and the application is about to close in the middle of the february on the 20th of February, 2026. Note: Completing the registration well before the time is a great practice on the apprenticeship portal before submitting the final form on the IOCL website.

• Trade Apprentice – Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant)
• Trade Apprentice (Fitter – Mechanical)
• Technician Apprentice – Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation
• Trade Apprentice – Secretarial Assistant (Panipat & New Delhi)
• Trade Apprentice – Accountant
• Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Fresher / Skill Certificate Holder)

• UR: 282
• EWS: 63
• SC: 121
• OBC (NCL): 171
• PwBD: 25
  (No ST reservation applicable in Haryana)

Training Duration

• Most trades: 12 months
• Secretarial Assistant: 15 months

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (Regular full-time only):

• Attendant Operator: B.Sc (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Industrial Chemistry)
• Fitter: Class 10 + ITI (Fitter trade)
• Technician Apprentice: Diploma in relevant engineering branch
• Secretarial Assistant: BA/BSc/BCom
• Accountant: B.Com
• Data Entry Operator: Class 12 pass (Skill certificate required for Code 111)

Minimum Marks

• 50% aggregate (45% for SC & PwBD)

Not Eligible

• Qualification completed more than 5 years before 31 Jan 2026
• Candidates with BE/BTech, MBA, CA, LLB, MCA or higher professional degrees

Age Limit (as on January 31, 2026)

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 24 years

Relaxation

• SC: 5 years
• OBC (NCL): 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years (additional as applicable)

Selection Process

• No written examination
• Merit list based on qualifying marks
• Tie-breaking: older candidate - Class 10 marks
• Final selection after document verification & medical fitness

Stipend & Conditions

• Monthly stipend as per Apprentices Act
• No accommodation or HRA
• Apprenticeship does not guarantee employment in IOCL

How to Apply

Candidates must complete both steps:

Step 1 – Register on Portal

• NAPS portal: apprenticeshipindia.gov.in (Codes 101,102,108,109,110,111)
• NATS portal: nats.education.gov.in (Codes 104-107)
  Apply for IOCL Panipat establishment after registration.

Step 2 – Submit IOCL Form

• Fill the Google Form available on the IOCL website
• Applications without both steps will be rejected
