Finally, for all the waiting candidates, an opportunity to take part in the registration process is starting today, on February 2, 2026. The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has officially opened IPU CET 2026. All the students should be aware that the application can be submitted via the ipu.ac.in, and students looking to take admission into UG and PG programmes can apply early now, as the ending date is March 31, 2026.

IPU CET 2026 Eligibility

UG Programmes

Courses	Eligibility Criteria
BCA	Pass in Class 12 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with pass in English(core or elective of functional). Mathematics or computer science or any other subject related to computer science.
B.Ed	Candidates with at least 50% marks either in Bachelor’s degree in science/social sciences/humanities. Or Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification.
BBA	Candidates should have passed Class 12 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must have passed English as a subject.
BA (JMC)	Candidates should have passed Class 12 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must have passed English as a subject.
B.Sc (ES)	Candidates should have passed Class 12 (Science) with at least 50% marks in aggregate for general category and 45% for SC/ST candidates.
BS (PT)	Candidates should have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology/Agriculture science/VocationalSciences subjects.
B.COm (Honours)	Candidates should have 50% marks in Class 10+2/Senior School Certificate Examination of CBSE as minimum marks.
BA English	Candidates with an aggregate of 50% marks in Class 10+2 from a recognised board.
BA (Economics)	Candidates with an aggregate of 50% marks in Class 10+2 from a recognised board with English as compulsory subjects.

PG Programmes

Courses	Eligibility Criteria
MA ( Mass Communication)	Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university with aggregate of 50% marks.
MA in English	Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university with aggregate of 50% marks.
Master of Education	Candidates should have at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in the following programmes: B.Ed, BA BEd, BSc BEd, B.Com BEd, BElEd, DElEd with an undergraduate degree.
M.Sc in Applied Geoinformatics	Graduation (Science/Engineering)/ (BA in Geography) with at least 50% in aggregate for general category and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.
Master of Sciences (Yoga)	B.Sc (Yoga) graduate with 50% marks from a recognised university.

How to Apply for IPU CET 2026

First, go and search for ipu.ac.in and then open the IPU CET 2026 portal
Then, after clicking on New Candidate Registration
After that, fill in the basic details and select the desired course
Then, after filling in personal and academic information
Finally Upload documents as per specifications, make a payment and save a copy of the final page.

Application Status & Correction Window

This is something all candidates should know: they can check the application status by logging in with the form number and password.
The window to correct the details will be opened after the application deadline to make certain edits after that.

To be aware that the registration date is about to end within a few days, all the candidates should complete the registration well before the end date to avoid last-minute technical issues due to the major traffic.
