Jamia Millia Islamia Distance and Online Programme Admissions Begins for 2025-26 Session, Steps to Apply

The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University’s Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) has produced the prospectus for the session 2025-26 and has opened its admission in the various distance and online programmes. Candidates who are eligible can register themselves on the official website at jmi.ucanapply.com .

Previously in the last week the prospectus of the university was released by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Mazhar Asif and the Registrar, Prof. Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi, in the presence of the CDOE Dean, Prof. M Moshahid Alam Rizvi and the members of the Prospectus Committe, as given in the official notice.

JMI Clears the Faculty Recruitment Details

This year the centre has the admission cycle in the postgraduate degrees of Urdu, Geography, Islamic Studies, Political Science, Sociology, Hindi, Education, English, History, Public Administration, MBA, Commerce, and MA in Human Resource (HR) Management.

The Undergraduate Programmes of the university include B.Ed , BA, B.Com, BBA and BCIBF. The CDOE also provides the postgraduate diplomas in the Guidance and Counselling and Geoinformatics as well as the diplomas in seven specialised areas like, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, International Relations and Global Governance, Educational Media Production, Public Policy and Governance, Mass Media in Urdu and Hindi, and Taxation.

Two new certificate programmes in Information Technology and Computer Hardware and Network Technology, which has been added this year.

The non-entrance test programme’s entrance is open till the 31st August 2025. And the entrance test programmes like the MBA and B.Ed have the last date set as 21st August 2025.

The Vice Chancellor Prof. Mazhar Asif had suggested the center to expand its learner support base over the whole country and thus increase the enrolment of the students in accordance with the National Education Policy. “The aim of this should be to reach learners in all the regions of India.”, thus highlighting the importance of widening access.
